A vibrant programme of events and exhibitions across two galleries – open to all.
Our main exhibition spaces are currently closed while we prepare for the summer programme featuring Hew Locke at Newlyn Art Gallery and Chantal Joffe at The Exchange.
Our shops and cafes are open as usual, along with The Studio at Newlyn Art Gallery, featuring work by Janet Sainsbury.
We will be open fully from THU 15 MAY
Our two venues are just a 2km walk apart, along the promenade between Newlyn and Penzance.
Stop by our cafes at each gallery as part of your visit, for morning coffee, a light lunch or a sweet treat.
We have a well-stocked shop at both venues, selling books, cards, ceramics, jewellery, stationery and much more, as well as our online shop.
We believe that art can inspire and drive change. Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange has always been shaped by the needs of the communities it serves including the most vulnerable and marginalised.
Our Learning programme provides opportunities for everyone of all ages, to connect, discover, explore and make contemporary art both inside our spaces and out, in-person and online.
Tea, Cake & Art is a creative social for people over 65 who feel isolated or lonely, and who would like to meet others and explore creative activities together in a friendly and relaxed environment.
